At the age of seven, Dakota Fanning became the youngest actor to be nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award and has won a multitude of other awards including the 2001 Broadcast Critics Choice Awards, The Golden Satellite Award and The Las Vegas Critics Society Award.

With an impressive list of credits, Dakota has begun production opposite Robert DeNiro as his daughter "Emily" in 20th Century Fox psychological thriller Hide and Go Seek. She recently completed Man on Fire with Denzel Washington which is expected in theatres April 23rd, starred in Uptown Girls as a precocious troubled girl from the Upper Side, played a young Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama, and played the lead in the feature Trapped with Charlize Theron, Courtney Love and Kevin Bacon. She is best known however, for starring opposite Sean Penn and Michelle Pfeiffer in Bedford Falls/New Line Productions drama- I Am Sam, which earned her a Screen Actors Guild nomination...
